Kimonos inherited from ancestors. Kimonos that you have not worn since you attended a dressing class. Do you have any kimonos that have been left in your wardrobe?
We at Jureikimono are working to re-tailor kimonos brought in by our customers into “Effortless Kimono”.
Tailoring fee is 33,000 yen (obi: 16,500 yen, kimono: 16,500 yen).
Kimonos you have at home or purchased at a recycle store. We can re-tailor any kimono, including Furisode and Visiting Kimono.
We will tailor the dress to fit your height for the best fit. Since we tailor in a way that does not require scissors, it is possible to return the garment to its original state.
It takes about a month to complete, so please contact us as soon as possible if you would like to use it for an important event.
Effortless Kimono, which does not require difficult dressing, is ideal not only for your own use but also as a gift for those who do not usually wear kimono.
Along with the tailored kimono, we will provide you with a QR code to view a video of the fitting, making it an ideal gift for those who live far away or for those overseas with language barriers.
We also accept requests from non-private clients such as guesthouses and photography studios.
Effortless Kimono,” which can be worn with ease and comfort, will help you create memories of your trip.
We are also working to re-tailor kimonos worn for weddings and funerals, such as mourning clothes and tomesode for weddings, into “Effortless Kimono”.
Effortless Kimono” has been very well received by customers in Japan, as it eliminates the hassle and difficulty of dressing and layering for the rare occasions of weddings, funerals, and other important occasions in life.
We, Jureikimono, will continue to introduce various initiatives so that the good old traditional Japanese costumes can accompany your life, important occasions, and memories.
